The auditorium is one of Sugar Land’s past remnants and tells a story worth preserving.

Rental Fee Schedule

The following fee schedule applies to non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) designation (copy of IRS determination letter required) – and reflects a 20% discount of the rental rate, all other items and amounts are billed at the standard rates (e.g. labor).
 

NO FURTHER DISCOUNT TO THESE RATES WILL BE MADE.
 

Base Rental Fee (Non-profit):
 

  • $1,030.00 for any public/private event (4-hour minimum, regardless of length of presentation) with an audience [based on a 2-hour (or less) performance run time, plus 1-hour before and after the performance]; and

  • $570.00 for a 3-hour non-performance rental (e.g. meetings of less than 75 attendees).
     

Note: One-half of the total rental fee plus a $250.00 refundable security deposit are due at the time of booking, with the total balance due no less than 15-days prior to the earliest date of the rental (including the remaining balance of the rental fee and all labor, incidentals and other amounts included in the final quote). In the event that any additional charges or damages are incurred over the course of the rental, or as a result of the clients use of the facility or any SLCAF/FBISD property or equipment, such amount will be provided to the client following the rental schedule in a detailed invoice of the charges – and must be paid (or arrangement for payment must be made) within 15-days of receipt to avoid collection, legal action or insurance claims.

Total Minimum Rental Cost (Non-profit Organization): including min. labor and security costs.

  • 4-Hour Public/Private Event Rental: $1,300.00 + $250.00 security deposit

  • 3-Hour Non-Performance Event (<75 attendees): $840.00 + $250.00 security deposit

[1] Performance is defined as any rental that has an audience present: 1 hour prior to performance start time until 1 hour following performance end time is assessed at the performance rate.

[2] Non-performance is defined as a rental that does not have an audience (public or private) or more than 75 attendees.

[3] 2 SLCAF designated technicians are required for all performance rental hours, plus at least 1 hour before and 1 hour after each performance. Additional time will be determined according to the needs of each event. Renter is welcome to bring any additional personnel they determine necessary.

[4] Mandatory per contract agreement, 30 minutes prior and 30 minutes following each performance.

Tuning of the piano will be priced according to the requirements of the event and number of performances, and must be performed by a SLCAF approved vendor (approx $150-$200).
